Anxiety Is Bullshit

It's a load of crap

Anxiety is total bullshit.

Whether it’s social anxiety, worrying about the future, replaying the past in your head, or that constant, gnawing sense of unease, it’s all bullshit.

We’ve all heard it – “Anxiety is all in your head” – and we're constantly pushed into believing that the solution is a bunch of meds that just mess you up even more.

But here’s the truth: anxiety isn’t just in your head, it’s in your body.

It’s in your liver, your lungs, your kidneys, your tissues, your muscles, and more

And here’s a game-changer: Your body controls your mind.

What you eat, the trauma you’ve endured, the energy you’re exposed to, and the toxins you take in all play a massive role in how anxiety shows up.

Take your gut, for example. Studies have shown that people dealing with issues like IBS, bloating, or other digestive problems are more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression. Your gut actually acts as your second brain. Honestly I like to say it’s your first brain

The truth is, something as simple as having an unhealthy gut (like a lack of beneficial bacteria) can lead to anxiety.

But here’s the kicker: we’ve been taught to believe that anxiety is all in our heads, and when we buy into that idea, we’re left feeling like helpless victims of our own feelings. We get stuck in the mindset of being at the effect and not the cause of our problems

You are 100% responsible for everything in your life. This is the golden rule of personal development. It’s crazy how much we ignore this truth or twist it when it’s convenient for our egos.

If you’re stuck in a cycle of depression and anxiety, it’s going to be nearly impossible to grow and live a fulfilling life. These things slowly ruin your life.

I’ve been there. I’ve had my share of serious illness that had me in a dark place for a while, but I figured it out.

It’s not that you’ll never feel anxious-it happens. The problems comes from identifying with anxiety and turning it into a lifestyle.

So if you’re dealing with anxiety, always know that it’s completely possible to eradicate it.

In another newsletter, I’ll dive into how I personally broke free from it. But for now, just know that your anxiety is a load of crap – and it doesn’t have to control you.
